01 The Knife
Every Knife You've Ever Carried Has Almost Been Enough.
It can cut a box, carve a feather stick and slice a strap… but then it struggles to chop through a branch, split a log or saw through wood. You know that moment.
So I built a knife that doesn't stop at almost. One edge is a plan. Three edges is a Plan A, a Plan B and a Plan C. MSK-1 Warrior X is a triple-edge adventure and preparedness tool: one knife that carves, chops, splits, saws, slices, smashes and grinds through whatever the trail, the campsite or the long way home throws at you.

02 Three Edges
Three Edges. Three Jobs.
- Fine edge: the primary edge, for carving, cutting, splitting, chopping, food prep and camp chores.
- Clip-point edge: precision drilling, plus a backup edge for tough cuts when a fine edge fails.
- NEW double-sided serrated edge: tears through rope, webbing, straps and wood.

03 25% Lighter
Less Weight. More Work.
Warrior X builds on the MSK-1 Elite Warrior, our original triple-edge design. We made it 25% lighter, so it rides easier on your belt or pack all day. Then we gave it 14C28N steel, which holds a keen edge, resists corrosion and is easy to touch up in the field.

08 The Story
The Happy Accident
Why Warrior X Can Ship So Soon
Here's the honest truth: this release wasn't on the calendar. Our manufacturing partner is in production on the Elite X right now. While the line was running, they told me they could make 300 Warrior X right alongside them.
So we said yes. That's why Warrior X is coming right on the heels of the Elite X, and why the first 300 are set to ship in December 2026, if all goes according to plan.
Ten years ago, you backed a crazy idea called the MSK-1. It raised $197,693 on Kickstarter, 1,317% of its goal. Then came the Elite Warrior, our first triple-edge design, named BWB Knife of the Year. Then the MSK-1 EDGE, funded in two hours. Then the Elite X, 25% lighter and in production now.
Where the Triple Edge Started
Before there was an MSK-1, there was a notebook and graph paper. Look at the spine serrations on these early sketches. On the page I wrote "One knife, multiple personalities." That idea never left.
From our design files: the MSK-1 Warrior profile drawing, with its serrated spine.
In 2021 we released a very limited number of MSK-1 Elite Warriors (to date, only 200 have been made) for our customers to put to the test. BWB Magazine named the original MSK-1 Elite Warrior its Knife of the Year. Warrior X carries that triple edge forward in a much more refined package.
Warrior X brings it all together: the triple edge you asked for, on the lighter, tougher platform we built for the Elite X.

Don't Take My Word for It

10 The Crew
A Family Business, by Design
Ten years ago our whole crew hit the beach together: Carin and I, our two very tiny grandkids, and our adult kids—Ben and his wife Michelle, and our daughter Tai with her husband Gabe. The second photo is from our vow renewal at a local camp ten years later, with the family bigger, louder and a lot more fun—now six grandkids strong with another on the way.
Beach time with the family 10 years ago.
I started Ultimate Survival Tips back in 2012 with a simple idea: help regular folks gain the confidence and skills to get outside, be prepared and thrive when life gets a little wild.
Carin and my recent vow renewal was a sweet time with our family.
We're still a small, family-owned business (by design and providence), and your support helps us keep that vision alive: rugged, smart, no-nonsense gear that makes real adventures, and real preparedness, accessible to normal families. You're not just buying a knife; you're backing a family that lives this stuff every day and is passing it down to the next generation.

A Note From David
Hey friend,
Ten years ago, you helped turn a crazy knife idea into MSK-1. Warrior X is the one you kept asking for: three edges, 25% lighter, and only 300 of them.
Three hundred knives. Three hundred stories. I can't wait to hear yours.

Knife laws vary by country, state and city. Please check your local rules before you carry.
